Cancellations, Refunds and Related Policies

GrinStays aims to protect the interest of both guests’ and homeowners. Please read and understand our Cancellation, Refund, Relocation, Reschedulement and Related Policies for a hassle-free stay.

Check-in & Check-out Policy

  • Standard Check-In Time: 12:00 PM
  • Standard Check-Out Time: 10:00 AM
  • We’d be delighted to offer you an early check-in, provided there is no booking for the bungalow prior night. Please confirm your early check-in with us a day prior to the date of check-in. If possible, we will arrange an early check-in (earliest by 10:00 AM) at the extra 20% of the tariff for that night.
  • We’d be delighted to offer you a late check-out, provided there is no booking for the bungalow on the same day. If possible, the charges for extended check out are as follows:
    Check-out by 11:00 AM – No extra charges applicable
    Check-out by 03:00 PM- 20% of the tariff for the night
    Check-out by 06:00 PM- 40% of the tariff for the night
    Check out after 06:00 PM- Full Night Tariff applicable
  • It is at the discretion of GrinStays, whether to offer early check-in or late check-out.

Cancellation Policy

Change in booking dates is subject to the following terms & conditions:

  • Guests cannot claim any refund on cancellation. We do not have a ‘Money-Back’ policy.
  • We don’t charge additional Rescheduling Fees. Feel free to reschedule your booking on the available days within 3 months from the date of booking.
  • Rescheduling on the desired dates is subject to Villa availability.
  • Guests cannot reschedule bookings for upcoming festival days or public holidays.
  • Guests who initially booked for ‘Weekdays’ and want to reschedule for ‘Weekends’ may have to pay additional charges as applicable. However, Guests who want to reschedule their ‘Weekends’ booking for ‘Weekdays’, cannot claim any refund or compensation for the difference amount.

Terms & Conditions

  • If the guest checks in and decides to leave early, he/she cannot claim any refund on cancellation. We do not have a ‘Money-Back’ policy.
  • Any extra accommodation fee and cleaning fee will be decided and settled as considered appropriate by GrinStays.

Refund For Extra Guest

  • In case of any change in the number of guests arriving, the extra charges collected cannot be refunded.
  • In case of no information about extra guests’ check-in, GrinStays may/may not be able to arrange sufficient accommodation space. Hence, it is entirely the guest’s responsibility to discuss their extra guests’ concerns with us at least 5-7 days before booking.

Cancellation By Grinstays

GrinStays reserves the right to cancel a booking.

  • In such a case, the guests will get the option to request a change in date of Check-In & Check-Out.

Relocation Policy

GrinStays does not permit relocation (to another home) once the booking is confirmed. Get in touch with our team to learn more.

Reschedule Policy

  • GrinStays allows rescheduling only up to 15 days prior to the date of Check-In (before 12 PM). Also, the reschedule request is subject to home availability.
  • A Guest is entitled to pay extra Reschedulement Charges +Service Taxes as applicable. Contact our team at +91 9923851177 before requesting your booking reschedule.
  • The rescheduled booking can only be made on the same home and check-in date can be extended up to 2 months from the original date of Check-In.
  • Reschedulement charges are applicable for every reschedule requested.

Breakage Policy

DAMAGE AND/OR THEFT OF THE GRINSTAYS PROPERTY

  • Guest is liable for damage howsoever caused(whether by the deliberate, negligent, or reckless act) to the room (s), home/bungalow premises or property caused by you or any person in your party whether or not staying at the Home/Bungalow during your stay.
  • GrinStays reserves the right to charge such damage amounts as it shall in its sole discretion deem necessary to compensate the cost or expenses incurred or suffered by our home partner.
  • If we find such a damage/theft incident after the guest’ check-out, we reserve the right to inform the guest about the damage and recover the damage/theft expenses from them.
  • Damage to rooms, fixtures, furnishing and equipment including the removal of electronic equipment, towels, artwork, etc. will be charged at 120% of full and new replacement value plus any shipping and handling charges.
  • Any damage to GrinStays property, whether accidental or willful, is the responsibility of the registered guest for each particular room. In extreme cases, criminal charges will be pursued.
